Job summary

Quanex in Sioux Falls is seeking a Material Handler/Receiver to coordinate shipping and warehouse activities to meet on-time delivery objectives. You will stock and move raw materials, components, and finished goods, and review daily orders for timely shipment.

Forklift certification is preferred; basic computer skills and scanner use are required. You must follow instructions, label cartons, and maintain safety and OSHA compliance in all tasks.

• Move pallets, load trucks, and move other items safely throughout the plant as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Stock and handle raw materials, components, and finished goods in warehouse.

• Coordinate with all departments to ensure customer orders ship on time.
• Match product and customer orders to ensure correct quantities and labeling.
• Prepare UPS/FedEx shipments according to customer requirements.

Quanex is looking for aMaterial Handler/Receiver to join our team located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

This position will be responsible to coordinate the shipping and warehouse activities for the day-to-day activities necessary to ensure on time delivery objectives are met and the customer receives the product that they ordered.

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00 am-2:30pm

What Success Looks Like:
