Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Shelby, OH is hiring a Receiver for the 1st shift. You will receive and track parts using RF systems, verify quality, complete skid-tag documentation, and support 6S activities in a safe, organized work area.

The role requires a state-approved Tool & Die Maker card or equivalent experience and the ability to lift 40 pounds. Ideal candidates communicate effectively, follow written and verbal instructions, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• State-approved Tool and Die Maker card or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds consistently.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and track parts using the RF system.
• Ensure parts have not incurred shipping damage and are quality compliant.
• Complete proper material handling documentation (skid tags).
• Perform on-the-job training as needed.
• Responsible for daily 6S activities: housekeeping, organized and safe work area, paperwork/check sheets.
• Commit to safety culture and correct unsafe conditions.
• Work overtime when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
