Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, a global leader in tools and storage brands, is hiring a Warehouse Associate I - Packer on 1st shift (7:30am–4:00pm) in Columbus, Ohio. You will verify orders, pack items, label shipments, and move cartons to conveyors as part of a diverse team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and proficiency with AS400 and Red Prairie. The role offers benefits and opportunities to cross-train.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in distribution or related field.
• Able to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
• Must be physically able to stand/walk for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Verify goods against order prior to packaging and clear discrepancies.
• Carefully pack items to prevent breakage using prescribed methods.
• Mark and label packed cartons, shipping documents, and packing slips.
• Locate bin order overages and pull order shortages as needed to complete orders.
• Move completed packed cartons to the conveyor belt.
• Willingness to cross-train in other functions.
• Other duties as assigned.
