Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking an Assistant Manager for the USRM Collections Team. You will lead a team of Collectors, the Senior Receivables Analyst, and support staff, managing daily operations and external collection vendors while delivering quality service.

You will drive recovery, profitability, and participate in strategic projects, reporting to the Collections Manager. Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential, with the ability to travel for trials,

Qualifications

Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills are essential.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business; MBA or MS preferred.
Experience with Collections and Business Lines Billing systems is strong plus.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations; establish priorities, coach to KPIs, and coordinate with vendors to meet SLAs.
Develop and retain talent; conduct merit and salary reviews and coach growth.
Drive recovery and profitability; monitor targets and optimize vendor utilization for cost control.
Oversee strategic projects such as billing modernization and platform integrations.
Ensure compliance, quality, and controls across financial transactions and service.
