• Utilize aSa, AutoCAD and other detailing software.
• Provide excellent customer service to field personnel and customer office contacts.
• Verify that material and project specifications are met.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills through training.

Hartmann Building Specialties, Ltd. is a family-owned company that provides superior customer service and quality concrete products since 1979. With 8 locations servicing East Texas, Southeast Texas and all of Louisiana, Hartmann Building Specialties has over 45 years of experience providing our customers with the quality products and service they have to come to expect.

We are searching for a Rebar Shop Manager to join our team of highly experienced customer service experts. The Rebar Shop Manager will utilize aSa and a variety of other softwares to work with the shop production team to ensure accurate rebar fabrication and on time delivery.This position will communicate with our customers and production personnel to accurately schedule deliveries and assist on-site personnel with placement directions as needed. Salary listed on Indeed is a guideline and will be based off experience.

Previous experience in Industrial, Commercial or Residential construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills through programs and training.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Must be able to work overtime, either planned or unplanned as business requires.

• Perform other tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Strong outgoing personality and the ability to effectively communicate with others.
• Previous shop or construction management a plus.
• Previous estimating experience in the Residential, Commercial or Industrial construction fields a plus.
• Ability to forge and cultivate professional relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and rapidly adapt to change.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
