Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a rebar production worker to safely and efficiently produce precast concrete products to the highest quality standards. You will read drawings, cut, bend, place, tie and weld steel rebar, and prepare steel cages for filling with concrete.

The role involves facility maintenance, product yard duties, and loading trucks. A high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills are required; MIG welding experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Related industry or construction experience preferred.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide).
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• MIG welding experience preferred.

Job Summary

The rebar production worker performs a wide range of duties to safely and efficiently produce precast concrete products of the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Cut, bend, place, tie, and weld steel rebar
• Prepare steel cages for filling with concrete
• Facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Product yard and truck loading

Job Requirements

• High school diploma/ equivalent preferred
• Related industry or construction experience preferred
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication & division)
• Knowledge and skills to use basic tools, including a tape measure
• MIG welding experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is - $22.92 - $25.76/hr
