Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on Rebar Fabricator to manufacture customized reinforcing steel products per work orders and customer specs. You will set up and operate fabrication equipment, inspect outputs, and prepare items for shipment in an industrial environment.

The role requires 0-2 years of experience, a HS Diploma or GED preferred, and certification in forklift or overhead crane where applicable. You will work both indoors and outdoors with exposure to weather and noise, following all

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Experience in rebar fabrication or related production environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tags.
• Sets up and safely operates rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, automated bending machines).
• Stacks, bands, and stages materials following production flow and supervisor guidance.
• Inspects finished materials visually and by measurements for conformance to specs.
• Identifies defects and makes adjustments per established processes.
• Prepares completed products for shipment with protective materials to prevent damage.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area and follows safety policies.
