Job summary

White Cap is seeking a hands-on production teammate to manufacture customized rebar products. You will operate rebar fabrication equipment, follow work orders and tags, and prepare finished goods for shipment in an industrial setting.

This role requires safety awareness, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the flexibility to work outdoors or indoors with varying weather. HS Diploma or GED preferred; 0–2 years experience encouraged; prior rebar/steel production experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Ability to interpret rebar tags and work orders.
• Experience setting up or troubleshooting fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and tags.
• Sets up and safely operates rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders).
• Stacks, bands, and stages, organizing materials per production flow.
• Inspects finished materials for accuracy and conformance to specs.
• Identifies defects and makes adjustments per processes.
• Prepares finished products for shipment with protective materials.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and adheres to safety policies.
• Duties may be indoors or outdoors depending on the facility.
