Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Mesa, AZ seeks a production support associate to operate fabrication equipment and support loading/unloading. You will follow procedures, participate in safety programs, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Ideal candidates are willing to work outdoors in varying weather, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and available for overtime. Training and advancement opportunities are available as part of our team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Ability to operate in extreme weather; overtime is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend training on applicable equipment.
• Assist loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Operate production machines per procedures and guidelines.
• Participate in CMC safety programs and safety culture.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, welding equipment.
