Job summary

Commercial Metals LTD is seeking a production-oriented team member for fabrication and loading operations. You will participate in equipment training, operate production machines, and support loading and unloading fabrications on trailers.

The role requires safety-first discipline and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. The position emphasizes manual handling, adherence to standards, and readiness to cross-train across multiple machines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies
• Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment
• Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
• Able to work overtime as business requires
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and read technical documents
• Reading and following technical manuals is required
• Basic understanding of industrial concepts helps performance

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment
• Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Crosstrain on multiple machines
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture
