Job summary

Commercial Metals LTD seeks motivated teammates to support fabrication and loading of rebar for construction reinforcement projects in Tracy, CA. You may operate cranes and fabrication equipment, learn safety procedures, and contribute to throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Able and willing to cross-train as required.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and regulations.
• Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits.
• Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and operate fabrication machines safely.
• Overtime availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend training regarding applicable equipment.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
• Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Operate production machines per established procedures and guidelines; participate in safety programs.
• Cross-train on multiple machines; operate rebar fabrication equipment (shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, welders).
