Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of estimating experience in rebar or reinforcing steel.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and takeoffs for bids.
• Strong knowledge of rebar sizes, grades, and placement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for reinforcing steel/rebar projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents for accuracy.
• Perform material takeoffs and quantity estimates.
• Review bar sizes, shapes, quantities, grades, and laps.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor pricing as needed.
• Collaborate with project teams and communicate estimating details.
