Job summary

Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest in Roberts, WI is seeking an Estimator to prepare timely bids for reinforcing bars, mesh, and related products. You will use Takeoff and estimating software to build accurate quantities and costs, review plans, and help shape bidding strategy with the Estimating Lead.

Candidates should read structural, architectural, and civil drawings, know CRSI standards, and have a two-year technical degree.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare timely estimates of quantities for bidding projects.
• Familiar with NRF Estimator Training Program and estimating processes.
• Knowledge of CRSI/ACI standards and reinforcing bar estimating methods.
• Ability to read construction drawings (structural, architectural, civil).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates of quantities of reinforcing bars, mesh, and related products for bids.
• Review plans and determine project scope and bidding strategy with guidance.
• Use Takeoff and estimating software to generate accurate proposals.
• Collaborate with sales teammates to ensure bid accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain safety standards and follow NRF procedures.
