Nucor Rebar Fabrication Midwest in Lansing, MI is seeking an Estimator to prepare timely bids for reinforcing bars, mesh, and accessories. You will review construction drawings and assist in bidding strategies with guidance from the Estimating Lead.

The role requires familiarity with takeoff software and ASa estimating, plus the ability to prioritize tasks and travel as needed. Safety and accuracy come first in this collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings (structural, architectural, civil).
• Develop timely, competitive estimates for bidding on projects.
• Progress through NRF Estimating training and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely estimates of quantities for reinforcing bars, mesh, accessories for bids.
• Review plans to assist in scope, bidding strategy with guidance.
• Coordinate workload and communicate with sales on bidding process.
