Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID, is seeking an ID1 RDA Process Engineer to monitor inline defectivity, identify process anomalies, and drive defect reduction initiatives across high‑volume manufacturing. You will learn to leverage advanced inspection and metrology tools, analyze large data sets, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve manufacturing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to investigate process anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and interpret complex data sets
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and manufacturing processes
• 5+ years of experience working within Semiconductor Manufacturing, specifically RDA or Metrology

Responsibilities

• Analyze process flows, defect data, and inline signals to identify anomalies, drive corrective actions, and improve defect performance
• Support experimentation, baseline health monitoring, and defect reduction initiatives across high-volume manufacturing
• Utilize inspection and metrology tools to detect process issues early and identify sources of variation
• Partner with global manufacturing, process integration, process development, and yield teams to develop and deploy best-known methods
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, root cause investigations, and process optimization
