Job summary

gpac is seeking a Construction Reality Capture & Layout Specialist to support field data collection and BIM coordination on active projects. You will operate 3D laser scanning equipment and prepare datasets for Revit and AutoCAD workflows.

The role blends on-site field work with technical office tasks, requiring travel to project sites, strong software skills, and a focus on accuracy, documentation, and collaboration with survey and design teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of practical laser scanning and point cloud processing experience.
• Experience with professional reality capture hardware and software.
• Understanding of end-to-end scanning workflows from field collection to final deliverables.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 3D laser scanning in construction, industrial, and commercial settings.
• Capture accurate site data using reality capture tools and workflows.
• Set up and confirm site control with survey and layout personnel.
• Process and register point cloud data for BIM coordination in Revit/AutoCAD.
• Assist with development of scan docs, deviation reports, and model-ready files.
• Support integration of point cloud data into Revit and AutoCAD workflows.
