Job summary

RPG Squarefoot Solutions is seeking a Reality Capture Specialist focused on the AEC and construction space to capture and process high‑resolution spatial data for smarter decision‑making on active sites.

You will support BIM coordination and site documentation, using CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, AutoCAD, Register 360, and Revit to deliver deliverables and reports while working on dynamic construction environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in 3D scanning for construction or surveying.
• Proficiency with CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, AutoCAD, Register 360, and Revit.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D laser scanning on active construction sites and in the office using advanced tools and workflows.
• Post-process scan data to create deliverables such as point clouds, floor plans, and BIM models.
• Train and support clients on platforms like CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, AutoCAD, Register 360, and Revit.
• Generate professional project reports and maintain detailed documentation.
• Manage and maintain scanning equipment inventory and conduct regular maintenance.
• Inspect scan results and outputs to ensure construction-grade quality.
• Prioritize and log jobs according to project schedules and deadlines.

Hourly rate: $20–$25 (DOE) | Full‑Time

This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional who thrives in the fast‑paced AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry and has hands‑on experience using laser scanning to support construction workflows, BIM coordination, and site documentation.

What You'll Be Doing

You’ll be the boots on the ground and the expert behind the screen—capturing, processing, and delivering high‑resolution spatial data that powers smarter, safer construction decisions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform 3D laser scanning on active construction sites and in the office using advanced tools and workflows
• Post-process scan data to create usable deliverables such as point clouds, floor plans, and BIM models
• Train and support clients on platforms like CloudWorx, Recap, Reality Cloud Studio, AutoCAD, Register 360, and Revit
