Job summary

DLR Group is an integrated design firm focused on elevating the human experience through design. The Reality Capture team uses LiDAR 3D scans, photogrammetry, photographs, and construction documents to create precise 3D BIM models supporting project lifecycles.

As a Reality Capture Technician / Architectural BIM Technician, you will translate LiDAR or photogrammetry data into BIM models using Revit and capture software, working with design teams to meet project goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Revit-related professional experience.
• Understanding of building components and Revit families.
• Experience with construction documentation and scheduling.
• Pursuing an associate degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality 3D BIM models from LiDAR or photogrammetry.
• Perform Revit modeling from 3D point clouds.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers on projects.
• Follow BIM procedures and sheet layout standards.
• Meet deadlines through effective time management.
