Job summary

DLR Group in Des Moines, with studios in Dallas, Houston and Omaha, seeks a Reality Capture Technician / Architectural BIM Technician to translate LiDAR/photogrammetry data into BIM models for design teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of Revit-related professional experience.
• Understanding of building components and BIM workflows.
• Ability to develop Revit families and manage models.
• Experience with construction documentation and scheduling-readiness.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with the Reality Capture team.
• Prepare high-quality 3D models, drawings, or deliverables.
• Perform Revit modeling from 3D point clouds.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers on various projects.
• Follow BIM procedures for model setup and sheet layout.
• Learn advanced Revit techniques and technology topics.
• Meet deadlines through efficient time management.
• Leverage advanced technology with the Reality Capture team.
