Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Observational Research Senior Manager to lead real-world evidence studies within the Inflammation / Rare Disease team. You will design, execute, and deliver RWE analyses to inform Amgen’s pipeline and in-line medicines, leveraging diverse data sources to produce high-value insights.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, development of innovative analytic methods, and clear communication of complex scientific information to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master or Bachelor with extensive epidemiology and research experience.
• Experience designing, executing and analyzing observational research studies.
• Experience in research to support drug development.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design, execution and delivery of RWE studies to support Amgen’s pipeline and in-line medicines
• Contributing to the development and implementation of innovative analytic methods and tools
• Leveraging real-world data to advise high-value business decisions with key partners
• Communicating significant scientific information to diverse audiences
