Genentech is seeking an IA Senior Data Scientist to build and deploy AI/ML-powered digital solutions that transform how medicines are developed. You will partner with product managers, software engineers, and UX researchers to design, test, and scale statistical capabilities using clinical, operational, and real-world data.

The role emphasizes product thinking, technical fluency, and delivering scalable, ethical tools within regulated healthcare contexts.

Formación

• Master’s or PhD in data science, CS, statistics, applied mathematics, bioinformatics, or related field.
• 3+ years applying ML and statistics in research or product environments.
• Proficient in Python or R with ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience designing experiments, simulations, and evaluating model performance.

Responsabilidades

• Apply ML methods to support evidence generation, trial design, and decision support across R&D initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and UX researchers to design and scale capabilities.
• Build and maintain model development pipelines with traceability and monitoring.
• Integrate models into production applications with engineering and product teams.
• Contribute to compliant, interpretable ML architectures for clinical development.
