The position is on site at China Lake with no telework option; an active DoD secret clearance is preferred. The role involves collaborating with branch teams to support operations, testing, and modernization of video and display systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or technical discipline required.
• Active DoD secret clearance preferred.
• 10 years of experience in the specialty field required.

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level field engineering tasks in installation, operations, testing, and maintenance.
• Research and reference reading to assist higher-level engineers.
• Plan and carry out engineering steps with standard practices.
• Support projects with limited scope or parts of larger projects.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, or technical studies.
