Job summary

Ondo Finance seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability for real-time trading services, latency-sensitive Go and Rust components, and multi-region Kubernetes deployments on AWS. This role is remote (US) with on-call duties during market hours and a strong emphasis on observability and incident response.

You will read and modify Go and Rust code, debug latency regressions, and build automation to keep a 24/7 trading system healthy with a small team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE or production engineering with latency-sensitive systems.
• Strong programming ability in Go or Rust and willingness to work in both.
• Deep Kubernetes and AWS experience with stateful latency-sensitive workloads.

Responsibilities

• Debug production incidents end to end including latency regressions.
• Harden market data ingestion with failover and replay capabilities.
• Build reconciliation tooling across live gauges and data lakes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation across US equity and 24/7 crypto venues.
