Job summary

a.i. solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Reagan Test Site (RTS) RETS program in Huntsville, AL.

You will work on ballistic missile and space situational awareness projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of mission-critical software. The role requires 5+ years in software development with Java and OOP expertise, DoD 8570 IAT II baseline certification, and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related Engineering degree.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a software development environment with solid OOP proficiency (Java).
• Security+, CySA+, GICSP, or similar DoD 8570.01 baseline certification for IAT Level II required prior to employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, document, and release new and modified software.
• Coordinate with Software and System Engineers, CM, and Test Operations for integration, verification, and validation of new code.
• Support RETS on multiple software domains and work with real-time software on the RHEL OS.
• Maintain existing software projects and resolve critical software bugs.
