MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Lab Technician in Wake Forest, NC to perform high-complexity molecular diagnostics, including real-time PCR, in a fast-paced clinical lab. You will document results, ensure QC, and collaborate with clinicians to support accurate patient diagnoses.

Formación

• Minimum: Medical laboratory certification, or a CLIA-compliant Bachelor's degree in medical lab science.
• Two years of clinical laboratory experience, including molecular or PCR-based testing.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CLIA high-complexity, real-time PCR testing per protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collect, prepare, process, and analyze patient specimens.
• Document laboratory results accurately in the EMR.
• Maintain quality control, calibration, and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA and infection control standards.
• Monitor inventory and manage reagents and expiration dates.
