MainStreet Family Care in Wake Forest, NC seeks a Laboratory General Supervisor to lead high-complexity molecular testing and oversee daily lab operations. You will perform real-time PCR tests, manage specimens, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain stringent quality/compliance standards.

Qualifications

• CLIA-certified lab certification or CLIA-compliant Bachelor's degree in lab science.
• Two years of clinical laboratory experience, including molecular or PCR-based testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform CLIA high-complexity real-time PCR testing per protocols and regulations.
• Collect, prepare, process, and analyze patient specimens.
• Document laboratory results in the EMR accurately.
• Perform quality control procedures, calibration, and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
• Prepare and manage specimens for internal and external testing.
• Monitor inventory, reagents, and expiration dates.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report testing discrepancies or equipment issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support operations; supervise day-to-day test performance.
