The role focuses on 2D/3D image fusion, validation, and deployment within a regulated medical device environment, contributing to innovation and IP generation.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in CS, EE, BME, robotics, or related field.
• 2–5 years AI/ML development experience.
• Hands-on Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience in medical imaging or computer vision applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI algorithms for real-time detection and tracking of interventional devices in live fluoroscopy and angiography sequences.
• Develop 2D/3D fusion and registration methods for image modalities and planning primitives.
• Build foundation models and distill them for real-time latency on clinical hardware.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to translate workflows into data and model performance requirements.
