Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Princeton, NJ, is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to develop real-time imaging algorithms for neurointerventional procedures, including device tracking and 2D/3D fusion. You will work with clinicians and engineers to translate clinical needs into robust AI solutions that operate within regulated medical device environments.

Required are an MS/PhD in a relevant field and 2–5 years of AI/ML experience, with Python and PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow for ML model development.
• Experience applying ML to medical imaging or computer vision tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking for biomedical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI algorithms for real-time detection and tracking in interventional imaging.
• Translate clinical requirements into data, annotations and model performance metrics.
• Validate and evaluate AI models under realistic procedural conditions.
• Collaborate with clinicians, imaging scientists and product teams across the project lifecycle.
