United States Digital Space LLC is hiring a Software Engineer, Network Observability for Starlink. You will design, build, and scale observability software for the Starlink network, enabling real-time alerting and rich metrics to monitor constellation health and service quality.

The role involves designing data ingestion pipelines, building dashboards, and reducing manual monitoring effort. You will work across backend and frontend tech with Python/Go/Java, React, and databases in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience building or operating large-scale observability, telemetry, or real-time analytics systems.
• Strong backend experience with Python, Go, Java, or similar languages.
• Frontend experience with React, Angular, or a comparable JavaScript framework.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, etc.) and/or distributed data systems.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant data ingestion pipelines for real-time telemetry streams.
• Develop frontend visualizations and dashboards for monitoring teams.
• Drive automation to reduce manual effort in network monitoring and improve anomaly detection.
• Maintain high software standards across the full stack.
• Apply first principles thinking to solve business problems.
