Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, Observability (Starlink), to design and scale the network monitoring stack for the world’s largest satellite constellation.

You will build data ingestion pipelines, dashboards, and automation to improve real-time observability, diagnose issues, and drive reliability across Starlink’s system while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experience with Python/Go/Java, React, PostgreSQL, Docker and Kubernetes is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in STEM & 1+ year of industry or internship experience; or 3+ years of professional software development in lieu of a STEM degree.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant data ingestion pipelines to reliably consume telemetry streams in real time.
• Develop frontend visualizations and dashboards that present data in clear, real-time views for monitoring teams.
• Drive automation to reduce manual effort in network monitoring operations and improve anomaly detection accuracy.
• Maintain high software standards and practices across the full stack.
• Deep dive into business problems and apply first principles thinking.
