Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, Observability for Starlink to design and scale software that powers observability across the network. You will enable real-time alerting and provide metrics on service quality and network health.

You will own projects end-to-end, work on backend in Python/Go/Java and frontend in React, and contribute to high-impact mission-critical systems in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 1+ year industry experience; or 3+ years of software dev experience in lieu of a STEM degree.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, fault-tolerant data ingestion pipelines for real-time telemetry streams from Starlink satellites and ground infrastructure.
• Develop frontend visualizations and dashboards to present processed data for monitoring teams.
• Automate network monitoring operations and improve anomaly detection accuracy.
• Maintain high software standards and apply strong engineering practices across the full stack.
• Tackle business problems with first principles thinking.
