Job summary

Harbinger Motors in California seeks an MES & Ignition Developer to design and develop reporting, visualization, and automation solutions for manufacturing operations. Transform data from Siemens OpCenter into real-time insights using Ignition.

You will build plant-floor and management dashboards, automate production reporting and alerts, and integrate with MES and databases to provide visibility into production performance, quality, downtime, and other key metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ignition including Perspective and/or Vision.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling.
• Python/Jython scripting experience.
• Understanding of MES and manufacturing metrics.
• Experience integrating MES with databases.

Responsibilities

• Design real-time Ignition dashboards for plant-floor operators and leadership.
• Automate daily production, quality, and downtime reporting.
• Configure event-driven alerts and notifications for production events and faults.
• Integrate Ignition with Siemens OpCenter and related data sources using SQL.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
• Write Python/Jython scripts for custom logic and automation workflows.
• Design intuitive industrial interfaces for plant-floor displays.
• Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to translate needs into solutions.
• Monitor and maintain the Ignition environment and security.
