Qualifications

• BS in computer science, math, electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field or relevant experience
• 3–7 years of software engineering experience, preferably in an industrial environment
• Experience with Ignition SCADA platform
• Proficiency in at least two of: C#, C++, Java, Python; expert in at least one
• Proficiency in design/architecture and programming of SQL databases

Responsibilities

• Develop MES and system integration solutions for various clients
• Be an inaugural member of a newly formed team to support Vertech's growth
• High level language programming for a variety of applications, including Python and Java
• Design and program databases, including stored procedures and reporting in SQL
• Design and program custom industrial and web-based applications using Ignition and related platforms
• Design and develop APIs
• Create intuitive, visually appealing data representations and interfaces
• Provide on-site system commissioning support as needed
• Apply scrum/agile methods to plan, estimate, and deliver increments
