Medtronic is seeking a motivated Software Test Engineer for the Affera Mapping and Ablation System. The onsite role can sit in Mounds View, MN or Newton, MA and focuses on testing high‑performance visualization software for cardiac electrophysiology applications.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree with no required prior experience, and is prepared to work with QA to ensure regulatory compliance and robust documentation while contributing to cutting‑edge medical device development.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 0 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred knowledge of medical product verification IEC-62304 and FDA guidance.
• Experience creating test protocols for verifying software requirements.
• Ability to work with QA to ensure testing meets Quality and Regulatory needs.
• Familiarity with managing test cases in a repository/tool.

Responsabilidades

• Test the functionality and performance of the systems software.
• Develop and execute manual test plans and scripts.
• Maintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies.
• Ensure systems software meets technical and functional requirements.
• Work with engineers to resolve software defects and diagnose product configurations.
