Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer - HIL to support testing of the Affera Mapping and Ablation System. The role focuses on real-time visualization applications and hardware-in-the-loop environments for embedded medical devices. Onsite a minimum of 4 days a week.

Responsibilities include test planning, executing tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. Strong debugging and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years experience or Master’s with 2+ or PhD with 0 years experience.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing in embedded/medical device environments.

Responsibilities

• Test functionality and performance of systems software in standalone and HIL environments.
• Maintain understanding of testing software technologies and HIL methods.
• Develop and execute manual test plans and scripts to detect problems.
• Ensure systems software meets requirements.
• Document test results and suggest quality improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers to diagnose defects and improve product configurations.
