Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant software testing experience
• Experience creating test protocols to verify software requirements
• Ability to work with QA to meet Quality and Regulatory needs
• Good documentation practices
• Experience using test case repositories (Polarion, TFS, TestRail, JAMA, Matrix, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple hardware and software configurations
• Knowledge of IEC-62304 and FDA guidance (software related)
• At least 2 years of software verification experience
• Proficient in Python, C++/C#
• Experience debugging hardware with oscilloscope and function generators
• Experience writing, executing, maintaining test automation scripts (Python or similar)
• Automating functional, regression, and system-level tests; integrating tests into verification workflow
• Experience writing technical reports
• Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive
• Experience with version control (BitBucket/Git)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Test the functionality and performance of the system software
• Develop and execute manual test plans and scripts designed to detect problems
• Maintain broad understanding of current testing software technologies
• Ensure systems software meets technical and functional requirements
• Perform workflow analysis, document test results and recommend quality improvements
• Work with engineers to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration
• Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies
