Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience mentoring, tech lead, or leading an engineering team

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate highly scalable distributed systems that process millions of events per second with low-latency requirements
• Build real-time fraud detection pipelines using Apache Flink for stream processing, aggregations, and anomaly detection
• Develop graph-based intelligence solutions on AWS Neptune to uncover hidden relationships and identify fraud rings
• Write production-ready code for services with 24/7 availability
• Own the full lifecycle from design to deployment, monitoring, and operations
• Collaborate with applied scientists to integrate ML models into real-time decisioning systems
• Work in a fast-paced agile environment with measurable impact on AWS security
• Mentor teammates and contribute to engineering excellence
