Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large-scale systems
• 1+ years of SDE or equivalent experience
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Experience programming with at least one language

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate highly scalable distributed systems that process millions of events per second with low-latency requirements.
• Build real-time fraud detection pipelines using Apache Flink for stream processing, aggregations, and anomaly detection.
• Develop graph-based intelligence solutions on AWS Neptune to uncover hidden relationships and identify fraud rings.
• Write high-quality, production-ready code for services that must be available 24/7 with zero tolerance for downtime.
• Own the full lifecycle of your solutions — from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with applied scientists to integrate machine learning models into real-time decisioning systems.
• Work in a fast-paced, agile environment where you're solving complex problems with direct, measurable impact on AWS security.
• Learn from others, mentor teammates, and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
