Job summary

Jack Link's is seeking a seasoned FSQ RTE Manager (Technical Authority) to serve as the single point of authority for food safety across Ready-to-Eat production and packaging. You will act as a real-time risk controller, making immediate decisions on product safety, production continuity, and release.

Responsibilities include defining standards, enforcing containment measures, and leading sanitation validation efforts to prevent cross-contamination and ensure safe operations on the floor.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in food safety/QA leadership.
• RTE food experience strongly required.
• Deep expertise in HACCP, FSMA, GMPs.
• Proven ability to enforce standards and make high-pressure decisions.

Responsibilities

• Real-Time Food Safety Authority: make final product release decisions and line startup approvals.
• Lead escalation for deviations, sanitation failures, and environmental risks.
• Define and enforce RAW RTE separation and controlled entry/exit points.
• Maintain 7-step cleaning system and validate sanitation effectiveness.
• Own pre-op verification standards and audit high-risk areas.
