Job summary

Jack Link’s Protein Snacks in Minnesota seeks an FSQ Manager to lead the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) Team and oversee the SQF Quality System at our USDA-inspected meat snacks facility as an SQF Practitioner.

You will drive HACCP-based food safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, training team members and reporting to Senior Site Leadership on specification compliance and process quality.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher Education required.
• 5 Years of Leadership Experience in Food Safety and Quality Assurance in Meat/Poultry.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5+ years leadership in food safety and quality in meat/poultry.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and supervise FSQ Team members to uphold quality standards.
• Direct management of SQF Quality System, HACCP plans, sanitation and prerequisite programs.
• Lead resolution of food safety and quality issues as onsite SME.
• Trend progress and drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality.
• Report to Senior Site Management on compliance, process variation and customer requirements.
