The role emphasizes leadership, development of training, and strong collaboration with suppliers and customers to protect product integrity and brand reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, food science, engineering, or related field (essential).
• 10+ years of food manufacturing experience with 5+ years in management (essential).
• SQF Practitioner certification required.
• HACCP certification required.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.
• USDA manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead SQF and food safety programs in a Ready-to-Eat (RTE) facility.
• Develop training curricula and IDPs for Quality staff.
• Drive continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
• Lead labeling team to ensure compliant finished goods labels.
• Analyze audits, KPIs, and data to drive corrective actions.
• Maintain SQF and HACCP systems and documentation.
• Manage Quality Alerts (QAL), CARs, and QIT processes.
