Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the product lifecycle from discovery to release and adoption. You will drive discovery through customer feedback, interviews, and commercial needs, and define roadmaps across consumer, operational, platform health, and B2B commitments.

You will write PRDs with goals, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release considerations, align platform differences across web and mobile, and translate requirements into sprint-ready stories.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of product management experience in software/SaaS/marketplace environments.
  • Experience leading discovery, writing PRDs and acceptance criteria, and delivering in agile lifecycles.
  • Experience shipping across web and mobile products.
  • Strong judgment balancing user value, business impact, and technical constraints.

Responsibilities

  • OWN the product lifecycle from discovery through release and adoption.
  • Lead discovery via customer feedback, stakeholder interviews, and commercial needs.
  • Define problems, scope, priorities, and roadmaps across consumer, operational, platform, and B2B needs.
  • Write PRDs with requirements, stories, acceptance criteria, and release considerations.
  • Specify platform differences across web, mobile, iOS, and Android.
  • Translate requirements into sprint-ready stories and manage backlog prioritization.
  • Partner with Engineering on feasibility, estimation, sequencing, and scope trade-offs.
  • Define acceptance scenarios and conduct UAT; ensure final product acceptance before release.
  • Own onboarding, portals, permissions, multi-user workflows, billing, and incomplete-service scenarios.
  • Lead third-party integrations (identity, payments, messaging, email, analytics).
  • Define outcomes, metrics, guardrails, instrumentation, hypotheses, and experiments with BI and Design.
  • Lead demonstrations for Sales, Support, Operations, and partners.
  • Monitor adoption barriers and translate feedback into improvements.

Job description

  • Own the product lifecycle from discovery and requirements through delivery, release acceptance, and adoption
  • Lead product discovery through customer feedback, stakeholder interviews, workflow observation, support insights, and commercial needs
  • Define product problems, desired outcomes, scope, priorities, and roadmap across the consumer marketplace, operational needs, platform health, and B2B commitments
  • Write product requirements documents with problem framing, goals, scope, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, edge cases, dependencies, and release considerations
  • Specify platform differences across web, mobile web, iOS, and Android, including notification behavior
  • Translate requirements into sprint-ready stories and own backlog prioritization
  • Participate in refinement, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release coordination
  • Partner with Engineering on feasibility, estimation, sequencing, dependencies, and scope trade-offs
  • Define acceptance scenarios and user-acceptance testing coverage; conduct UAT and provide final product acceptance before release
  • Own product direction for partner and clinic onboarding, portals, permissions, multi-user workflows, billing, payments, and incomplete-service scenarios
  • Lead product requirements for third-party integrations including identity and background checks, payments, messaging, email, employment services, video, and analytics
  • Define product outcomes, success metrics, guardrails, instrumentation, hypotheses, and experiments with Data/Business Intelligence and Design
  • Lead demonstrations and walkthroughs for Sales, Customer Support, Operations, and B2B partners
  • Monitor adoption barriers and feedback after launch and translate findings into prioritized improvements
  • Coordinate product escalations and communicate product decisions while maintaining ownership boundaries with Data/BI, Engineering, Design, and QA
Requirements
  • 4+ years of product management experience in a software, SaaS, marketplace, or platform environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead discovery, write high-quality PRDs and acceptance criteria, prioritize a backlog, and deliver across an agile product-development lifecycle
  • Experience shipping coordinated experiences across web and mobile products
  • Strong judgment balancing user value, business value, operational impact, technical constraints, and time-sensitive commercial commitments
  • Experience partnering with Product Design, Engineering, QA, Customer Support, Sales, and Operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including explaining complex product behavior to non-technical audiences
  • Comfort defining product metrics and instrumentation requirements and working with analysts to interpret results; advanced data-analysis or SQL ownership is not required
