Job summary

Agilent Technologies, Inc. seeks a Software/Firmware Engineer in its R&D group in Little Fall, DE. You will own embedded software requirements, design, development, and test for products in the Gas Chromatograph, Automated Sample Handling, and Automated Sample Preparation lines.

You will collaborate with software, firmware, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as chemists, to build complete systems and deliver real-time control of hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of programming experience in C/C++.
• Experience with real-time control of embedded systems.
• Knowledge of device communication standards: TCP/IP, RS-232, RS-485.
