RTX in Goleta, CA is offering an on-site real-time embedded software role for students pursuing a STEM degree. You will join an Agile team, develop C/C++ code on Linux/RTOS, and participate in CI/CD tooling with Python-based automation. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

This role is a full-time on-site position with a salary range of $42k–$88k and comprehensive benefits; relocation eligible for qualified candidates.

Formación

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced STEM degree and entering junior, senior, or graduate standing by Summer 2027.
• Minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience with object-oriented software development in C, C++, or similar languages.

Responsabilidades

• Join an Agile team developing, integrating, testing, and delivering real-time embedded software for Advanced Sensors and Electronic Warfare programs.
• Support requirements analysis, software design, implementation, integration, and testing of new or existing real-time applications and tools.
• Contribute to internal reviews of software components and systems.
• Work on well-defined tasks with clear scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Follow established development processes including configuration management and CI/CD practices.
• Develop software primarily in C/C++ on Linux and real-time operating systems; support CI/CD automation using Python-based tooling.
