Job summary

Acro Service Corp in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to work on real-time embedded software integration, testing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and hardware interfaces within combat vehicle systems.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and vehicle test teams on software and hardware integration, scripting, networking, cybersecurity hardening, and verification testing to ensure compliance with customer and system requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Experience integrating software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Knowledge of RPM packaging, binary executables, drivers, shared objects, and static libraries.
• Approximately 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and test software applications on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and hardware components within combat vehicle systems.
• Develop and maintain software/hardware integration testbeds.
• Perform scripting, networking, cybersecurity hardening, troubleshooting and software verification testing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and vehicle test teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with customer and system requirements.
