Job summary

RTX's Software Engineering Directorate in Tucson, AZ is seeking engineers to join the SW E F Fectors Center onsite. You will contribute to real-time embedded software and tools, participate in design, development, and testing, and collaborate with project managers within Engineering.

Applicants should have a STEM degree with at least two years of experience, strong C/C++ skills, embedded testing experience, and an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain necessary program access on day

Qualifications

Typically requires a STEM degree with at least two years of experience.
Experience with C++, C, or other object-oriented language.
Experience with hardware-software integration and embedded system testing.
Active and transferable Secret U.S. government clearance required prior to start, with ability to obtain special program access after start.

Responsibilities

Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software and tools.
Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
Participate in internal review of software components and systems.
Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.
Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
Ability to obtain program access required.
