Job summary

RTX is seeking engineers for the Software Engineering Directorate's Effects Center in Tucson, AZ to develop real-time embedded software and related tools. This onsite role requires a STEM degree, 2+ years of experience, and an active Secret clearance.

• Degree in STEM with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with C/C++ and embedded systems.
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required on day 1.

Responsibilities

• Assist and participate in requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software and tools.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Participate in internal review of software components and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.
• Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Follow established development practices and processes to maintain configuration management of software products.
