RTX is seeking a software engineer in Tucson, AZ to develop and test real-time embedded software for defense systems. You will design, implement, and verify software for missiles, launchers, radars, and naval fire control equipment, working within an agile team and HIL environments.

Responsibilities span requirements derivation, architecture design, and integration, with close collaboration to systems engineers, hardware designers, and project managers.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM field required by start date.
• Experience developing, building, or debugging software in C, C++ or an object-oriented language.
• Experience with hardware-software integration, embedded testing, or bench-level debugging.
• Experience applying OO principles and common data structures/algorithms.

• Derive software requirements, architecture design, implementation, and verification of real-time embedded software.
• Design, code, test, and integrate high-reliability software for missiles, launchers, radars, and naval systems.
