RTX in Tucson is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to architect, design, implement and test real-time software that integrates firmware and hardware across missile, launcher, radar and naval systems.

This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance. The salary range is 132,400 USD to 251,600 USD, with relocation offered and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Typically requires STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Embedded C++ software, security, and architecture design.
• Experience with RTOS like Green Hills, Integrity, VxWorks or Linux.
• Experience integrating hardware, firmware and software.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Architecting, designing, implementing, testing, and debugging embedded real-time software.
• Working within a cross-discipline team to refine product concept, implementation, testability, and guaranteed, measurable quality.
• Teaching, coaching, and mentoring less experienced staff.
• Contributing to proposals as well as preliminary and critical design reviews.
• Ability to obtain program access.
