Raytheon in Goleta, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Real-time Embedded to contribute to real-time embedded products. You will participate in cross-disciplinary teams, define architecture, and implement software for military-grade systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include designing and testing real-time software, interfacing with FPGA and hardware teams, and ensuring high reliability.

Qualificações

• Requires STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in software design, integration and test using C/C++.
• Experience with embedded microprocessor design, FPGAs, DDR and related interfaces.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in cross-disciplinary integrated product teams using agile methods to plan, design, test and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
• Innovate and implement new products and technologies from architecture to lab/test to field test.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and senior staff to produce planning and technical work products for internal customers.
• Develop software requirements and FPGA interface requirements from system-level requirements; perform simulations and tests.
• Work with systems, firmware, electrical and software engineers in an advanced product development environment.
• Travel occasionally for business as needed.
